North American Title (“NAT”) is synonymous with growth and change. NAT iscomprised of a holding company, North American Title Group, Inc., and 20 subsidiaries,growing from a single office with five associates in 1984 to more than two hundredoffices and twenty-one hundred associates. The NAT family of companies has beencontinually challenged by change. Changes resulting from industry and market factors,as well as strategic changes requiring us to develop new and improved processes thatenhance delivery of our services. While NAT has grown through expansion of existingoperations into new markets, our most significant growth has come through acquisitions.Some of the biggest challenges, as well as opportunities faced by NAT have come fromthese acquisitions. The diversity of each entity’s practices has presented the biggestchallenges, as well as the biggest opportunities, in designing processes that promote acompany-wide consistent discipline of execution: understanding how to link togetherpeople, strategy, and operations, the three core processes of every business.
