Training & Development At CPW, your personal and professional development will be given the highest priority, whatever your role and at whatever level you join us. Your specific training will depend on the area in which you join CPW. Retail & Direct Sales Joining us in Retail Sales or Direct Sales, you will attend an intensive induction course to give you the tools, skills and confidence to kick-start your career. Even if you have no experience in mobile communications, you can forge a highly successful career. We offer further in-house courses and continual coaching, so you remain an expert on the latest technology, and fully conversant with sales and customer service techniques. We will take an integrated approach to assessment and development throughout your career. Development centres will provide feedback on your performance and we will implement a personal growth plan for you. Contact Centre The Contact Centre has also developed Advisor Competency Training (ACT). This is a modular training programme designed to help advisors improve and develop the skills they use within their roles. Management Development If you progress your career well enough to be promoted to a supervisory or Assistant Manager position, you will attend a pre-management course to help you make the step up.Development will begin as soon as you are selected for a management role through an internal assessment centre. Birthday Holiday Since 1st April 2005 all employees have been entitled to an additional day off for their birthday. Holidays 23 days' holiday increasing with length of service Life Assurance All employees are included in the company's Life Cover plan from your first day at work. In the event of your death, a payment of three times your basic salary will be paid to your nominated beneficiaries. The Income Protection Scheme is currently provided by Norwich Union. Private Healthcare Everyone is entitled to join the scheme upon completition of their probationay period, subject to a nominal contribution to the cost of the benefit. All employees are eligible to join this pension after 3 months service, and although CPW does not contribute, you have the ability to contribute through payroll deduction to a personal plan with low fund management charges. Pension Plan Any employee of Management Level or above are entitled to join the CPW Group Personal Pension Plan upon completition of their probationay period and benefit from a company contribution, together with the ability to contribute monthly through payroll deduction.
