We believe there's no such thing as a typical Allen & Overy candidate. It will come as no surprise that we're looking for people who can demonstrate a strong academic performance. Commitment to a career in law and to a career with A&O is, of course, also essential. We also mean it when we say your university and degree subject doesn't matter - at least 45% of our trainees are from non-law backgrounds and we do not have a shortlist of preferred universities.
