As a graduate, you can join one of the following divisions of the group:
• Actuarial Consulting Your tasks will range from the design and day-to-day management of pension schemes, through to corporate transactions, and ultimately to the final close-down of the plans, when risk is passed to a third party.
• Employee Benefits Consulting The Employee Benefits Consulting Graduate Programmes offer ambitious and creative graduates the opportunity to begin their career with Aon with early client contact and great responsibility.
• Global Risk Consulting The Global Risk Consulting Group offers a variety of risk management solutions to organizations around the world. The graduate programme gives you the chance to learn about both insurance and accounting.
• Internships
Aon offers three internships: a summer placement both in Actuarials and Employee Benefits Consulting and a 12-month industrial placement in Employee Benefits Consulting. According to their website, the Aon graduate programmes are designed to help you to attain professional qualifications where relevant, and to develop the skills required to achieve your aspirations. To that end, you'll have regular performance reviews during which you and your manager or mentor will discuss your progress and set objectives for the future.
