Asif is currently a third year technology student at IIT Bombay. He has been manager of the entrepreneurship cell with a number of important roles including leading the publicity campaign for one of Asia's largest business plan competitions. He has worked on establishing a Global Entrepreneur Network at colleges across India. Asif is now one of the placement officers for IIT Bombay's student recruitment program. Asif is advising the Brave New India team on establishing the student representative network at universities and colleges across India.
