Recent Developments
Continuing our expanding presence across both the Eastern region and nationally while also diversifying our portfolio of clients and services. 2008 saw us take acquisition of two companies which has fuelled growth and expansion both in terms of location and the range of services we offer.
Our planning team in particular has quadrupled in size since 2004 which means it is the largest in the Eastern region. We have also established an Engineering Services team to provide a new range of services, which includes structural engineering, highways, and transport planning, civil engineering and infrastructure.
What do we do?
Bidwells is run on traditional corporate lines covering all aspects of the main property sectors; commercial, rural and residential. We also have separate divisions for building consultancy, residential development and planning.
As the spectrum of our services are so diverse, so are our range of clients. These include institutions, developers, public bodies and charities.
Some of our traditional clients we have maintained business with for over 100 years!
The service provision you will be involved with depends on which division you join. You may learn how to provide advice in agribusiness, building surveying, structural engineering, rural produce marketing, valuation, property management, rent reviews of transport planning, to name but a few.
What are we looking for?
Generally we recruit 10-12 graduates across our divisions. Positions are predominantly based at our head office in Cambridge, but opportunities often arise in our region offices too.
The type of graduate we are looking for will be bright, numerate and enthusiastic who are committed to a career in property. Ideally they will have a strong academic record, relevant work experience, good communication and interpersonal skills and commercial awareness.

This includes varied, hands –on experience; dedicated time, support and mentoring towards your APC and continuous training to arm you with the professional and technical skills necessary to become a successful property professional.
