Cadbury has an outstanding portfolio of chocolate, gum and candy brands. Cadbury plc has created brands like Cadbury, Trident and Halls. Cadbury’s Vision Into Action (VIA) aligns the energies and efforts of the teams behind the brands, markets and projects that will make the most impact on revenue, margin and market performance. Graduates are offered a specially-tailored, individual development path. The training scheme typically lasts three years before graduates find a position within the organisation, although this is flexible depending on individual career path. Expect real responsibilities and opportunities from day one and a Development programme tailored for you. Expect to travel. Expect our support in studying for professional qualification.

Most of the courses (such as presentation training) are run out of Cadbury itself. If there's any extra training we can't cater for, we'll arrange for you to attend an external course. We also offer support towards professional qualifications such as CIMA and the CIPD. At Cadbury your development can be progressed and controlled by you.

We'll help you as much as we can, but ultimate success will be down to your own drive and determination. Each employee with Cadbury has an opportunity to discuss their career path and design a suitable development plan based on future ambitions. Regular meetings and reviews ensure the development you need to embark upon your career path. Learning and development activities range from self-managed study, coaching and courses to language skills and progression towards personal qualifications.

What does it feel like to work at Cadbury?

This is probably one of the main questions you have in your mind, whether you are casually researching companies, thinking of applying for a new job, preparing for an interview or even already working here and thinking about moving to a new location.

People tell us that the great thing about working at Cadbury is that our people are friendly and our work environment is open and welcoming.  Visitors and consultants mention this warmth even on short visits and we also know from our regular employee surveys, that our colleagues feel a strong sense of pride in working for Cadbury.

Visit our website to learn more about what matters to us – our values, heritage etc. We treasure these aspects of our culture because we recognise that they are essential in fostering an environment where teams and individuals can contribute to business results.

People stay at Cadbury because they feel they can grow personally and professionally – being stretched, offered new challenges and finding the scope to make a difference to the business. Both our culture and our business energise people – just as expressed in our company purpose: “working together to create brands people love”.

Our fast-moving and demanding competitive environment as well as our much-loved brands provides plenty of opportunities for people to grow and learn – applying their passions and contributing their original ideas.  Watch our video interview with CEO, Todd Stitzer, to find out what it's really like to work at Cadbury and how he sees us achieving our vision of being being the biggest and best confectionery company in the world. A downloadable transcript of the video is also available.

There's no point joining our organisation if we don't have what you're looking for. By the same token, we won't take you on if you don't have what we need.

We're after people who:

•    have excelled academically - but not just academically

•    stand out from their peers as an overachiever

•    display exceptional talent, enthusiasm and drive, and thrive on hard work

•    love a challenge and aren't fazed by ambiguity and change

We're interested in graduates from all disciplines - it's not a requirement to have studied business or a vocational subject. What really matters is your analytical and communication skills. Having said this, some areas do have specific requirements:

•    an engineering background is essential for engineering

•    a science or chemical engineering degree is essential for science and technology

If you're a graduate who fits this bill, we'd like to speak with you. And that's regardless of where you or how long ago you studied, your age, race, colour, ethnic or national origin, or your gender, sexual orientation, religion, marital status or disability. We recruit on the basis - and only on the basis - of your suitability for a career with us. This commitment to equal opportunities is one way we express our deeply-held values.
