Explore Learning

Explore is a national network of learning centres providing maths and English tuition to children aged 5-14, designed to improve knowledge, confidence and enjoyment of learning. They use interactive and engaging computer-based tools that map to the National Curriculum. They adapt to each child and challenge them at exactly the right level. They use a variety of resources to cover maths, reading, writing, spelling, and entrance exams. There are two different graduate entry opportunities at Explore Learning: The full time team of Assistant Directors are graduates from leading universities, with a variety of degree disciplines including some qualified teachers, all sharing a passion for education and the desire to help children reach their full potential. The Assistant Director Induction Training is provided via an extensive centre based programme; Head Office based consolidation training and inter-centre exchanges. The Induction Programme is focused on training new Assistant Directors in a combination of educational skills such as National Curriculum teaching methods, and business skills such as Financial Management and Budget Control. Training for tutors is conducted through regular formalised, group training sessions as well as on an impromptu basis during shifts.
