We were formed in April 2008 when Heineken NV acquired the UK business of Scottish & Newcastle PLC and we integrated with Heineken’s existing UK business. Employing around 4,000 people, we are a brewer and cider maker; a wholesaler and distributor of alcoholic drinks; and we manage around 2,200 pubs through our S&N Pub Company business. We are passionate about our beer & cider brands and the services that we offer to our customers. Whether you are a trade customer or a consumer, we hope you enjoy our unrivalled portfolio of brands including Foster’s, Heineken, Strongbow, Kronenbourg 1664, John Smith’s and Bulmers together with a full range of niche and speciality brands.
Every year we recruit graduates directly into roles across our business and through graduate schemes in some of our local markets. Whilst some of these programmes have an international element, we have a specific programme for those focused on a long term international career. Our 18 month international graduate programme (IGP) is your chance to make an impact from day one. Once on board you will enjoy responsibility, development opportunities, training, coaching, travel and an environment that both stimulates intellectually and rewards high performance. What is so great about Heineken? Well our 200 leading brands and over 65 operating countries are a good place to start. The Heineken brand is available across the globe, but we also brew a host of other famous brands, some reflecting local cultures and tastes and others that have reached beyond their local market. There is also our sponsorship of 007 - Quantum of Solace, the UEFA Champions League, rugby's Heineken Cup and music venues around the world.
What sets our graduate programme apart from others is that you can really go as far as you want. All you need is to be talented, determined and enthusiastic; we will help you fulfil your potential! At the end of the programme, if you perform as expected, you will be offered a permanent contract at a junior manager/specialist level.
