Consultants attend clients' sites during the week, working closely with clients and colleagues enjoying challenging, varying problems and a rich and active social life. The work never interferes with the weekends. Our IT Consultants are also expected to support the engineering aspect of the business and are given the same intensive induction as our Engineering Consultants.
Typical duties include:
• Design and development of software solutions from conception to delivery
• Use of C#.NET to create robust Win and Web applications.
• Quickly understanding and using clients' existing data systems (e.g.
Oracle, SAP, DB2, Paradox, SQLServer, Lotus, NHS PAS systems, etc.)
• Being the on-site IT expert, supporting and advising the rest of the team.
In order to be able to achieve the above effectively you will need a broad skill base and an innate ability to quickly grasp new techniques and technologies. Experience of SQL Server, C#, .NET and Visual Studio would be an advantage.
Because of the broad range of our projects we are looking for graduate-level candidates with proven software development experience who have the intelligence and dynamism to cope with any challenge and a contagious enthusiasm for technical solutions.
