To ensure the promotion of British Library policies, issues and activity to all our stakeholder groups, in particular Government and Parliament. To build effective relationships on behalf of the Library with these key senior stakeholders to support our funding bids, influence legislation, contribute to public debate and to influence the public agenda with regard to Library issues. To interpret the Library’s strategic direction and major projects in an effective manner to a political and policy audience. To offer stakeholder relations and public advocacy advice to senior colleagues. Lead and manage the advocacy team.
