What do you think about the Olympic sponsorship? If you are in the UK, or, even worse, like myself are currently living way too close to the Olympic Park for comfort, you may sympathise with this view.

Personally I find the idea of a sponsored kit, sports drink or something else sporting related fine, but when it comes to beauty products or alcoholic beverages, I'm baffled. I mean, Helen Jenkins is my heroine (she's also the world champion at olympic distance triathlon) and she has very shiny hair, but if her conditioner is sponsored I'm not going to expect to emulate her performance in the pool, bike or while running. It all seems a little absurd to me. What's your view?
    • Not excited by the Olympics? Then thank God for the sponsors

British people don't appear to care about the Games, so it's handy there are the Olympic sponsors to help us get into the spirit of things The Olympic games trundle ever closer, and already you can smell the excitement in the air, because it's being wafted in by gigantic corporate excitement blowers.
