      Gautam, I think it's a matter of perspective. We are obviously not privy to the reasons leading to Mayer's hiring. However, I would speculate (if we really want to look at this as a gender issue) she got hired because we men have done a lousy job all along!

      Hi Ken, yes this is not specifically about Marissa herself but the research that women are chosen CEOs where the firm is failing and men when there are chances to succeed.
