11 Tricks For Battling Creative Blocks, From Leading Creatives
It's one of the most dreaded moments in the life of a creative person. The muse packs her bags, walks out the door, and doesn't leave word as to when she'll come back. Many of us, myself included, sink into a deep, dark despair filled with doubt and worry.

Melissa LangemanFor me #3, and just hanging out at a quiet coffee shop work wonders. Coffee Shop for creativity and writing, the hotel for straight up productivity. Its a great way to disconnect, have everything taken care of (no distractions or procrastination from doing more housework). I think of these things as a personal off-site. Except, I bring only what I'm working on, and go to a place where I know the staff. -

Serena RizzoThe hotel idea is interesting, I had never thought of it. Have you experienced it before? Is it worth the cost?- 17th October 2012

Melissa LangemanHey Serena, Yes, I've done it a few times, but while living and working in India. So, a 4 star hotel (nicer than you might think in a Tier 1 city) was worth the 65 EUR or whatever per night I paid. I did it 3 or 4 times. If I was not a recent grad, I would surely do it again. When I finally get back into professional life, I'll likely do it maybe a few times a year, finances permitting, of course :)- 17th October 2012

Serena Rizzothanks for the "review" ;). I will consider it for moments like that (maybe I won't pick London, but a smaller town...)
