As a new entrant, you will be placed on the two-year Core Graduate Development Programme (CGDP), designed to help graduates develop the broad-ranging skills necessary to succeed in the commercial world. A mixture of residential courses, on-the-job experience, applied learning and careful mentoring, the Programme leads to a Post-graduate Certificate (PgC) with a leading business school and can be used as credits towards an MBA. Alongside the CGDP, you will also have access to QinetiQ’s comprehensive Initial Professional Development (IPD) scheme. IPD is a period of personal and professional development that usually takes place between the award of your degree and gaining chartered status. This scheme is designed to help you develop key technical and business skills and recognize that development through chartered status. Throughout the CGDP, you will have ongoing access to career advice, an annual performance and potential review and the support of its graduate network – Cortex.
