T-Mobile UK is part of T-Mobile International, one of the largest mobile companies in the world. Which in turn is owned by a parent company Deutsche Telekom. Together with the other companies in the Deutsche Telekom Group, we look after some 150 million mobile customers worldwide. Our aim has always been to give our customers what they want. Whether that’s new products, great service or the best way for them to use our network, we’ve got lots of bright, enthusiastic people making sure they always get what they want. And, with over 17 million customers in the UK alone, we need to stay on our toes at all times.
As an employer, one of our commitments is to enable you to learn in a way that is best for you. This is about self-led learning, which means that you get the development you need, when you need it, to do a great job. There are lots of tools and support to help you with this throughout your career with T-Mobile. Research shows that some of the most effective and meaningful learning takes place as part of your day-to-day work. To help you really tap into this we have a team of learning solutions specialists who work with our different functional areas, teams and individuals to make learning a part of everything you do. We supplement this through the resources on our performance, learning and development website which include just-in-time guides, blogs, wikis, e-learning and classroom training.
The content and structure of our graduate programme varies depending on the business area you join, but there are certain things they all share: - All last two years during which you’ll become a specialist in your field - All expose you to the wider organisation and reveal how different departments contribute to the customer experience - All offer the chance to make an impact from day one Like any successful relationship, yours with T-Mobile will be a two-way thing. We’ll give you all the training and development you need (together with some fantastic benefits). But before we do that, there are certain qualities we’ll be looking for in you. From an academic standpoint you'll need a 2.1 or above. Unless you plan to join one of our technology programmes, this could be in any discipline. More importantly we look for: - An enquiring mind - Plenty of passion and commitment - The initiative to take the lead when it comes to your own career development But perhaps most important are the underlying values that underpin everything we do. They are not just words in some training manual. We really do live and breathe them. So to make the most of your career with us, you’ll need to live and breathe them too.
