  Rachel Strella I often hear from people that they have social media burnout. And it's actually quite common. In fact, it's something I struggle with myself - not only because social media is my job - but because I also enjoy using it to keep up with friends.

  I am more worried about social media born out to be honest.
  I don't tend play games and whenever I play them I hardly get addicted. Is this is a good thing or rather a lack of imagination? I tend to find reality or people way more interesting...

  Yes and well, I don't know. Yes - the church needs to continue including younger generations in its commmunications. Well I don't know- this is an historic, serious, unexpected announcement and the channel perhaps should be more formal. When the last resignation happened 600 years ago, I wonder about the channel of delivery at the time.

  that's a good point Jean.
  The Pope was already including younger communities via Twitter, but did not mention the resignation. I guess I am just wondering whether:
  -the resignation wasn't communicated as the rest of the announcement because it is, as you said, an historic, serious and unexpected announcement, and, as such, goes beyond social media or
  -resignations by public individuals are not "meant" to be public anyway.

  Serena-This resignation supposedly took people in the Vatican by surprise. Several prominent figures didn't know until the last few days. Most likely, the communications plan to cascade the information was a last-minute effort. In addition, his resignation is effective before Lent, which is unusual. I would have thought that he would have waited until after Easter. We will learn more about this over the next few years.

! People who multitask are actually less productive than people who focus on one thing at a time... ummm interesting, I guess it is time to rethink.

  I have revisited this too lately. I used to think I was great at multitasking, but now I prefer to do whatever I do well and without too many distractions.
  As stated in the article, something that turned to help out a lot when trying to juggle too much was making lists: I try to make an everyday list of what I accomplish daily and one for the day after.

  I believe that finding a balance and completion within yourself comes from constant learning about yourself. And you can not learn unless you move from your comfort zone and receive feedback from different people and unexpected situations.
  
  There is one really nice quote that I've once read about travelling and it says "I don't travel to run away, I travel because it brings me back to me."

  Last weekend I ran into a guy who hasn't been working for a year and a half. He worked for years in a well paid job and now he just does what he wants to do. I've been thinking about that a lot since then. The thing is, I am a student right now.

  Guony, I think it is the way you take it that makes the difference.
  
  I also feel like I need to be busy all the time and commit to several different activities, inside and outside work.
  As you mentioned, I think it is partially related to the fact that society imposes these rhythms, but I also believe I am more inclined to be "busy" by nature.
  I think the challenge is accepting what your natural rhythms are and transform them into activities that make you feel good.
  Some friends of mine,… Read more who work as artists or dance instructors only, find it really easy to accept they don't have "specific activities" to perform (i.e. go to school every day or go to an office) when they have free time.
  So, to sum it up: it is challenging but I personally like to believe it's possible to face this with no stress with some self control.

  That's true, it is all about our attitude towards things. I didn't realize until today that I felt guilty about this but now my challenge will be to relax and learn to enjoy this time, without feeling like I'm lazy and unproductive :)
