Respond to break/fix of servers in the production and non-production environments via BMC Patrol health checks that are monitoring several components:
Determine if the HW failure is causing user impact. If so, determine next action step:
For server or HW failure, the CCO-SA places a call to the vendor, and discusses the errors/symptoms seen. Work with the vendor to troubleshoot the issue and determine the next steps to take. May need to involve OSS-SA for questions to help develop the action plan, but the Command Center drives the resolution of the issue.
If a component is identified for replacement, the CCO-SA coordinates the time with the business (if downtime is necessary) and vendor, and ensures the replacement is completed successfully, which includes validation.
