I am an ambitious, creative, reliable and conceptual designer. Art & Design are my passions as well as a career choice.

I have a keen eye for layout, colour, typography and am extremely competent in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, along with Quark. In addition to my abilities on these programs I am very keen to learn and develop my skills; I am a sociable, positive and confident person who works well with others and thrives on pressure and responsibility. I have experienced many aspects of design as well as producing personal creative work of my own. I have dealt with clients, attended meetings with prospective clients, and printers. This has given me valuable experience on how to handle situations, such as dealing with PDF’s, print processes and designing to specifications.

    October 2007 to present

    Since October 2007 I have been working for Rice Creative, a design agency based in Southport. During this time I have undertaken many projects including brochure design, newspaper campaigns and
    branding to exhibition materials and directing photoshoots.
    I have worked with many different individuals ranging from other creatives, programmers, illustrators, printers, and photographers.
    During this time I have learned many useful skills in different areas of the business and enhanced my creativity and skills in programs such as InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Quark.

  • Guppy Graphics, Freelance Designer, Southport

    I have worked as a freelancer, taking on work directly from clients, however when I joined Rice Creative I brought this work to the agency. During this time I worked on many projects including the following:
    The branding for a new hair salon owned by an International Colour Techician. This included everything from the price lists to her company
    brochure, business cards to exhibition displays.
    I have also been commissioned to re-brand a local building company so that it appeals to a higher market of clientelle.

    June 2007 to October 2007

    In July 2007 I took on a two month work experience, which was then extended for a further three months. During this time I designed retail branding. Everything from garment swing tags to the actual front of the shop.
