Amishta Sohoraye
- I am a recently graduated in MA International Journalism from City University London. I am originally from Mauritus.
I am currently working for Brave New Talent as community moderator and I am also a journalist for Mauritius Now, a Mauritian newspaper based in London. It drives me. It excites and inspires me. From writing and editing, to journalism and presenting, the capacity of the medium to entertain and inform is stimulating. I have made some films at University tackling strong issues and would like to continue with my passion for film making within a broadcasting environment. I love the challenges of presenting. I have a few TV and radio stories, being the sole reporter. This involves being vibrant, happy and looking beautiful. I work well under pressure, improvising to camera, writing my own scripts, working with talkback, under the producer’s direction and presenting to camera. I love hanging out with friends, swimming, and travelling. I also believe that writing is the most powerful way to express oneself.
To obtain the position of a journalist to put forward my skills and experience.
