I'm a Production Engineer graduate working as Consultant at Education Impact. I'm incredibly fond and passionate about Education, specifically in the use of ICT to expand and improve it. In the last couple of years I have been involved in global projects and conferences including: Opening Speaker for 50+ Ministers of Education at the Education World Forum 2011. Project Manager for Edu-Access: An educational awareness campaign that ran in Colombia, Brazil, Jamaica and Egypt. Selected and invited to participate in other Summits in Doha, London, Paris, Buenos Aires and Rio de Janeiro. In my spare time I tend to do: Music (Saxophone and Piano) Sports (Football and Kite-surf) Gaming (PC mainly)

Edu-Access was an educational awareness campaign that ran in 4 different countries (Brazil, Colombia, Egypt and Jamaica). I was in charge of coordinating with all country teams (total of 30+ people) the planning and execution of the project.
The campaign reached thousands of people through radio, Internet, TV and conferences. -
Education World Forum 2011, Opening Speaker

The Education World Forum is an annual gathering of Ministers of Education around the world. In the 2011 Forum, 58 Ministers attended and more than 80 countries were represented by delegations. I was invited as opening speaker for the 3 day event.
There were more than 300 attendees. -
Qatar Foundation, Learners' Voice Participant at WISE

The World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE) is a global gathering of over 1,000 thought leaders and pioneering practitioners from multiple sectors worldwide to foster new collaborations and develop innovative solutions with the goal of inspiring creative change in education.
I was chosen as part of the Learners' Voice group which represented 20 people out of the 1200 attendees.
I conducted media coverage for the event by creating video interviews, blogging and tweeting.
Due to the success of the program I was also involved in the improvement of the 2011 edition of the Learners' Voice program managing to increase the total of attendees by 50% and having them involved in more panel sessions. -

A 7 day intensive workshops and discussions on social activism and skills training (project management, presentation skills, media work and fundraising).
60 people were chosen out of 1200 applicants by a video production and phone interview. -
