Paul Zealey
- Ambitious, proactive and entrepreneurial final year student looking for a career in finance or management.
A natural leader with ambition and great organisation. I am keen to get involved and influence the direction of every organisation or company I join for its benefit. I enjoy working in teams and individually and have very good analytical skills developed through my background as an engineer. Throughout my time at university I have juggled my time between being very involved in the Christian Union and working hard at my studies in aeronautical engineering. I have run a weekly cafe for international students with a weekly attendance of 100 people, leading and motivating a team of up to 70 fellow students. I have developed skills in marketing, management and problem solving in high pressure situations. I started an initiative within the Christian Union to encourage students to volunteer their summers with Christian organisations working abroad. Through this over 50 students went to over 30 countries last summer and has received national recognition through a magazine. Through this I have gained skills in entrepreneurship, delegation and strategic planning. Through a gap year and a summer trip teaching English in Thailand I have gained skills in relating to people from all backgrounds and cultures. I have a good understanding of people and have been proved good at choosing people with the right skills for particular roles, even when their not the obvious candidates.
To enjoy my career and succeed in all my tasks for the good of the organisation. To enable others to enjoy their jobs and succeed in all they do.
