I’m tremendously interested in civil engineering and it’s inextricably link with environment issues. My capability as a leader whom is responsible to control and lead the community is delivering me to be the grantee of field trip to learn Asia’s culture in Korea. I was invited officially by the Embassy of Korea to attend a culture festival in Korea last June. I do appreciate the power of speech and dialogue, being what I consider to be my best qualities. As long as there is a chance to be heard there is a path towards balance and sustainability in all levels. My biggest passions are pertinent to leadership in general, for those are the best way to understand other perspectives and different political points of view. Thus, interacting with new people from various backgrounds is incredibly my eagerness. This brought me to be honored by SIEN Foundation which invited me to represent Indonesia in a culture festival in Hungary. Last February, Universitas Indonesia also sent him to be its official delegate to pursue the Model United Nations Competition held by Harvard University, ‘Harvard National Model United Nations 2009 Boston USA’. I’m also a dynamic and inspiring personal. My idea of exploiting waste to be commercial stuff was highly appreciated by Minister of Youth and Sport Industry (MENPORA) in PEMUDA Contest and BINUS University in Entrepreneurship Competition. This idea also brought me to achieve 7 million Rupiahs (±USD 700) from DIKTI and UI as a grant to implement this project. I also possess deep concern for environmental and social problems. I’m actively participating in Social and Environmental Organization in his faculty called AKSIOMA, Jakarta Green Monster, and other NGOs. I’m going to implement an enormous project regarding waste utilization to be sources of energy. I once became activist and volunteer in SBIB. Recently, I was touted as Indonesia Green Envoy whose main objective is finding solution of environmental degradation. I also have admirable ability in the field of journalism. I’ve authored a comedy novel which still in negotiation stage to be published with a prominent publisher. I’m also The 2nd Champion of Civil Engineering Paper Contest and Finalist of Student Creativity Program, Olympiad of University of Indonesia in 2008, nominee of International Essay Contest for Young People from The Goi Peace Foundation Japan & UNESCO and candidate of Herawati Dyah Award 2008. Thus, the achievement I got and the deep concern I had in social field were appreciated highly by Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Indonesia by touting me as ‘The 2nd Most Prestigious Student in Social Field’. For this year, I'm fully focused on the community I lead which is 'GARUDA Youth Community'. Garuda Youth Community is new international-scale-community which is established to answer the nowadays world's challenges. This community is addressed for youth in ASEAN and to give youth some opportunities to discover and develop their competence as well as capability.We are focusing on these issues:-> Environmental Issue & Green Technology-> Education and Soft-skill Development... See More-> Gender Awareness and Human Trafficking-> Fair Trade and Entrepreneurship If I were to mention the qualities that list me as a good candidate, I would say that I consider myself to be a good listener and that I tend to evaluate and share my ideas after having taken the others point of view. I enjoy mediating conversations. My leadership skills are more related to choosing wise arguments to be include on the synthesis process than over speaking, something that I would define as diplomatic influence. In an environment where dialogue is involved and everyone is full of fresh ideas it is also necessary to be able to select and organize priorities, that is my skill and the gift I want to share. We go with some ideas and come back with a full bag.
