Attended and participated in the World International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Youth Forum in Geneva, Switzerland 2009 and was part of two member team who represented Fiji. Just finished my undergraduate degree in Computing Science and Information Systems and was part of the University of the South Pacific Senate Committee. Also representing the Students on various University Committees and Boards. I am born in the beautiful Island of Fiji and was brought up in the capital Suva. I have lived in Suva since birth and it is the hub of activity for the country. I have seen Fiji develop and the changes that have evolved. Since childhood my parents had appreciated and encouraged me in my education as they saw my love for technology, gadgets and the digital world that was evolving. I started with my primary education and tried to achieve the best at what i took up and i did so many times. Then i went in high school and aimed myself to be the best of the competition around me. What made me push myself was my will and determination that i can do what other students around me can do. Finally, i got my scholarship to attend The University of the South Pacific. In the University opportunities came my way as people recognized my ability of being a leader and students elected me into the Student Association. From there I have represented our students on the University Senate and various other committees of the university. At present i have come back from Switzerland attending the World ITU Youth Forum representing my country on how ICT can help a developing nation like ours. I was also accompanied to that forum by the attorney general of our country Hon Mr Aiyaz Sayed Khaiyum and we represented our country and the South Pacific countries who were unable to make it there.
