If you cast your bread on the water, it will return back a thousandfold, that's what it says in the Bible, so I've been told.

From a background of 5 years as a Royal Marines officer, I moved into the world of Project/Programme management in London, working for a combination of start-ups and major agencies. My skillset lies in working out where the challenges are, and then finding the most innovative solutions to overcome those challenges and making them happen. Although obviously my work is very important to me, I do have a number of other interests in my life. In 2006 two friends and I competed in a 350 mile race on skis towing 90kg sleds to the Magnetic North Pole. We finished up winning the race in a time of 11 days, 15 hours and 5 minutes, some 12 hours ahead of our nearest rivals. We are now planning a couple of expeditions: a training few weeks in Norway, a mini-expedition to Greenland in Nov 2009, culminating in a trip to the South Pole via athe Pole of Innaccessibility by kite ski in winter 2010. I am also a Captain in the Royal Marines Reserve, and run a detachment of RMR London up in Cambridge in my spare time. Having only been set up in Sept 2007, the det is still very small, but is growing rapidly, and has a strong core of trained ranks who are able to give a solid grounding of experience to the new recruits going through training. And it can have bullet points in it: Bullet 1 Bullet 2 Bullet 3 No more bullets.  Numbering: Number 1 Number 2 Number 3 All good.
