• Have passion and experience for marketing and advertising. Very much a people person, philanthropist, Christian and big thinker!

In 2009 I graduated with a degree in Print Journalism, a subject that heightened my skills in communications, analysing and evaluating situations and people, and immersing myself into new specialist areas every day. I enjoy working with people, whether it is listening and learning or working together to approach a goal, inter-agency or within an in-house team. My entrepreneurial spirit has led to me being mainly self taught and eager to constantly learn, and I am happy to take initiative without relying on a formal structure. On a non-professional level I love to work with young people through voluntary youth work, and regularly help out on projects with my local youth charity. I have held groups for GCSE aged kids regarding future career and education options, and am passionate about giving them balanced guidance at this critical age. I also have a strong interest in social enterprise and sustainable philanthropy, whether that is in the form of local projects of international development.   At home I’m getting into the practice of DIY and so far I can claim pride to my efforts in building a shed and concreting our driveway - my aim is to become sufficiently able in this by the time my wedding comes around next April. I love to keep fit and although I go jogging in the mornings, I much prefer team sports that I can partake in with friends such as football or tennis. 

I'm generally self taught in all that I do - and my desire is to contine learning in Business, Marketing, Advertising and communications, to become more proficient and would benefit from more strucutred training. I'd love a role that gave me room to move forward, and would ideally work for an organisation that embraced similar values to my own.
