Responsible for energy management assessment, energy policy reviews and energy efficiency strategy creation for facilities management, construction and waste management organisations.

- Part of bidding team for major PFI contracts, investigating energy procurement and management strategies, building them around principles of energy efficiency, while implementing green sources of energy.

- Investigation of renewable technologies installation and refurbishment strategies for a big-scale housing refurbishment project.

- Creation of sustainability strategies and plans for design, construction, refurbishment, maintenance and operation of Ministry of Justice buildings and guidance on how to achieve BS EN 16001 accreditation

Selected for Ferrovial Grupo exchange programme, aiming to share best practice, experience and knowledge across all organisations of Ferrovial Grupo.
Our target is to drive innovation in the Grupo and to investigate the potential of innovative strategies, new businesses and more efficient ways of working within the energy sector of Ferrovial.

Founding member of Ferrovial Energy Expert Group, a group of energy specialists from each of the Ferrovial Services organisations.

Started as an intern with energy analysis responsibilities, when I created a carbon baseline for all stores based on existing energy consumption data and I was liaising with modellers for the energy modelling of new projects, preparing modelling inputs and reviewing their methodology, results and reports.

After the end of the internship, responsibilities expanded, requiring project management, analysing and research skills.
I was responsible for feasibility studies on natural ventilation and daylighting for the new stores and for creating scenarios of the future carbon status of the zero carbon stores, identifying the problems and providing energy efficiency solutions.

Furthermore, I was involved in the cost analysis of the new projects and the overview of the development programme, including carbon reduction and costs from specific strategies.
