Chloé Doherty-Prosser

Enthusiastic, highly driven career motivated Single Honours Law graduate.

I am currently studying Law and International Commerce (LLM) at Queen's University Belfast. I enjoy horse riding and compete regularly in local shows and teach horse riding lessons at my local riding school. I am currently training for my first 5k marathon with the hope of running 10k someday. I am also a volunteer with Victim Support.

    Weeklong insight into commercial law in London visiting Herbert Smith, Hogan Lovells, Eversheds, Simmons and Simmons, Travers Smith, Barlow Lyde & Gilbert, Allen & Overy, Freshfields and Clifford Chance. Participated in a range of business games and case studies. Development of leadership, teamworking, advocacy and negotiation skills.

    I spent 1 day per week shadowing a Partner. I sat in on various client meetings and tasks involved delivering important documentation to various different agencies, (eg. lodging a Civil Bill with the Court Office), providing administrative assistance to Partners and attending court on a number of occasions.

    Part time sales consultant for NEXT my duties involved helping customers with furniture orders, merchandising and stock replenishment. I consistently met and exceeded my sales targets and was recognised by the store manager for my hard work and achievement.

    My main duties involved entertaining children, face painting and balloon modelling at various events ranging from private parties to large corporate events. I was placed in a position of trust being the sole representative of the company on many occasions and dealing with any problems that may have arisen. In my role as an equipment supervisor I was responsible for ensuring that all health and safety measures were complied with and supervising children whilst on inflatable equipment and providing first aid in the event of any accidents.

    Working as a member of the Christmas sales team one of my main duties involved assisting customers with sales queries such as the availability of specific products. My other duties involved stock replenishment and merchandising. I was responsible for ensuring the World of Imagination Department within the store was maintained to a high standard so as to increase sales and meet store targets. I also supported other departments when needed.
