Casheen Siersma

Casheen Siersma

Solicitor at Burness LLP

My unique upbringing involved having to move, often at very short notice, to new homes. I have lived in several places across Asia, Europe and the United States and have attended 11 schools. I had to adapt quickly to new surroundings, acclimatise to different cultures and learn new languages. At times, this proved to be extremely challenging, but as a result of this multi-cultural upbringing I feel personally related to the global community, which in turn drives a further desire to be able to understand and interact with people from around the world.   I am an organised self-starter and confident decision maker, and have come to enjoy meeting exciting and testing challenges. My learning activity base has included a passion for business, enthusiasm for working within a team and for analysing and solving problems with a creative and open mindset.
