Month-long work placement at the Newsquest office in Twickenham.

Responsible for researching, chasing and developing stories, ranging from local councillor tittle-tattle to residents opposing a KFC opening in their neighbourhood.

Very enjoyable work experience which involved one day a week in the editorial office during the final year of my undergraduate degree.

Had a chance to try my hand at writing a range of copy for the monthly magazine and website, ranging from news, features, as well as reviews of CDs, films, restaurant and bar reviews.
