It is divided into three sectors: Mainstream, Specialist and Activity. The Mainstream Sector is split into two subsections (sales of complete travel packages and sales of components such as flights) and includes brands such as Thomson and First Choice. The company also operates a joint-venture cruise line with Royal Caribbean under the Island Cruises name.
Once on board TUI Travel’s International Management Trainee Programme for graduates, you will work on a variety of assignments throughout the business, which will develop your skills and experience. As a trainee, you will receive 3-4 month assignments where you will work in different business areas and with senior managers at different locations across the world. Each graduate will embark on targeted personal development through training opportunities and development workshops.
To join TUI Travel as a graduate, you will need a good degree as well as fluency in two languages (one must be English). Given the company’s global scope, you will need to be internationally mobile and ideally have international experience, either through work experience, internship or study.
