Here's Ian Martin, he's a freelance cameraman and he's here to give you an idea of what you'll need to do to become a cameraman and work in the media.  From the benefit of Ian's experience you should start thinking about what you're doing towards the end of the second year so you've got the whole of the summer to organise your life and start shaping your third year, with both studying and gaining experience, to help you as much as possible with your future career. Ian's biggest tip for those leaving uni is to really know what YOU want.  Know what you to do, the role that you want and the companies you want to work for.  Be original and be passionate, it shines through and shows that you're creative and motivated.
